What to do with an old golf cart: sell it, part it out, or have it hauled away
A dead cart taking up the garage is common after a move, a health change, or simply buying a new one. You have more options than the curb.
Sell it as-is
Even a cart that won't move has value: the frame, motor, controller, body and seats are all useful to someone. Be upfront about its condition and have proof of ownership ready.
Get a cash offer
Some cart businesses buy carts in any condition and pick them up, which saves you the listing, the strangers and the towing.
Don't throw the batteries away
Lead-acid batteries hold lead and acid and must be recycled, not trashed. Battery recyclers and many parts stores take them.
Have it hauled away
If the cart isn't worth selling, free removal clears the space with no hassle. You'll sign a short release, and you should remove any personal items first.
Selling for a family member
If the cart belonged to someone who has passed away or moved into care, the person with authority over their belongings needs to sign. Have that sorted before anyone hauls it away.

Send a few photos through the request form. I'll make a cash offer, or haul it away free within the service area.
